Michelle Tindall (MT) is an Engineering Analyst in Simulation Research at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. MT is currently leading the Pegasus project, which aims to develop the process and technologies required for digital design, qualification, and lifetime monitoring, using CHIMERA as the near-term application and test case. CHIMERA (Combined Heating and Magnetic Research Apparatus) is a unique testing machine for fusion components being developed at UKAEA. MT joined UKAEA from Rolls-Royce Plc where she was a capability leader developing whole engine gas turbine simulations. MT has contributed to multiple Aerospace Technology Institute/Innovate-UK funded research projects developing simulation capability, including GEMinIDS, APROCONE and COLIBRI.
